California surf band The Sunrays was organized in 1964 by producer Murry Wilson following his dismissal as manager of his son's group, The Beach Boys. The Sunrays signed with Tower Records and soon released their one and only album featuring their two singles "I Live For the Sun" and "Andrea" which peaked at #41 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late February 1966.The Sunrays disbanded in early 1967.
