Born in Herndon, VA, Ronnie Dove began his singing career in the clubs of Baltimore, Maryland. He hit the Billboard Hot 100 20 times between 1964 and 1969, with five of those making it into the Top 20, yet he is rarely heard today on oldies radio or seen on the oldies concert tour. "Happy Summer Days" peaked at #27 in August 1966.
